MY WORLD BOOK DAY EXPERIENCE!!!
World book day is a special day for all the people who enjoy reading books like me. It was founded in 1995 in the UK and Ireland. It is always held on the 1st Thursday in March. We always get to dress up and I won a prize once for my costume of James inside the giant peach from James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl (I could barely fit through the classroom door☺).
I have also dressed up as The Boy who Grew Dragons by Andy Shepherd and I dressed up as Elmer by David McKee and when we did this it was cancelled and moved to the next day because it was a snow day and Hazel helped us make the costume!!
Every time there's a World Book Day we spend the whole day just doing lots of fun related activities!!! I am looking forward to the next World Book Day on the 4th March and I hope you will!! Joshua
